Please note you should expect to invest a minimum of $8000 for a new website (this includes both design and development).
Please contact me for pricing information.
The magic is in the process:
1 — Initial chat
Once I receive your filled-out contact form, I'll send you a few questions to make sure we're the right fit, as well as chat a little bit about your business and project goals. If everything's a go, I'll put together your quote and we'll go over the next steps (like signing the contracts and getting your down payment secured).
2 — Evaluate
As soon as I receive your signed contract and down payment, I'll send you a homework packet to complete through Google Docs. It's not as dry as it sounds, I promise ya! The purpose of the homework is to help us both dig deep into your business, and figure out where you've been and where you're headed. Having a crystal clear vision of your business goals and target market will help me design something both beautiful and crazy effective.
3 — Design
This is where the pretty happens! At this point I've gathered lots 'o information about you, your business, and your ideal customer, and can now design with these things in mind. My goal is to produce something both visually appealing and specifically designed to achieve your goals, whether that's to increase revenue or simply make a killer impression.
So rather than giving you 2-4 options and making you choose arbitrarily, you'll get the one design that's most likely to help you achieve your goals, and we'll talk in detail about why. I don't offer revisions or tweaking unless absolutely necessary (for example, if you've already done extensive target market research and remembered halfway through the project that they don't actually like the color red). Thanks to the amount of info I gather from you in the beginning (spoiler alert: a lot), when I present you with one option, you can be confident it's the best option.
4 — Party
You bring the tacos, I'll bring the bouncy house.
What kind of payment do you accept? You can pay securely with a debit card, credit card, or PayPal balance directly from your invoice!
Do I need to provide a deposit?Yes. A 50% deposit (of the total quoted project cost) is due after we sign the contract in order to secure a spot on my calendar.
Can you write our copy?I don't provide copywriting, but will happily recommend someone to you.
Are printing costs included my quote? No. Printing costs can vary wildly depending on a number of factors, including which pieces we decide on, how many to print, and materials and finishes. Once we decide all of that I'll give you a quote from my printer, and you can decide to move forward or make changes to cut costs.
What should I do to prepare for our project? There are a few things you can do! First, make sure your calendar is flexible for the duration of the project. Be sure you're willing to promptly complete any homework I give you, and communicate with me when I need you to. As far as design, please have some content ready. This means any copy, information, and images you may want to include in your designs.
Do I need to find my own developer? If we're working together on a website design, typically I'll outsource the development to a trusted developer I know. As the designer I like to have control over the finished product, and it's important to be there for the developer should she have any questions or need my help. We'll work together to make sure the final site is as beautiful and effective as possible!
Why do you limit the revisions I can make? There's a phenomenon in design that I like to call the revision trap. This is what happens when you keep making changes to a design, usually just because you've been given the option to. It's easy to get caught in a cycle of changes that could go on forever if you let it, so in order to keep our original inspiration and visual goals in tact, I don't offer revisions. My questionnaire and moodboard process is super thorough, so designing something fantastic shouldn't be a problem!
Do you provide ongoing website support?Since I don't provide development, I don't provide website maintenance or support, but the developer I bring on for your project likely will.
